Day Trip to Burana Tower and Konorchek Canyons

ABOUT TOUR

If you're looking for a quick day trip from Bishkek but don't want anything too remote, then it is the best choice. During this full-day private tour, the guide will introduce you to the history of Silk-Road-era Burana Tower, with a hiking to the marvelous trails of Konorchek Canyon.

Konorchek canyon is one of the places worth visiting for a whole day. Canyon is hidden behind the mountains of a Boom gorge, so, the trip is going to be an unique experience, because you will be able to see what is hidden from the sight of others. Every day here thousands of people pass this road and do not even realise that that only a few kilometers away there is an amazing natural treasure!

The unique beauty of the Konorchek canyons is related to their majestic cliffs, dry and transparent air and long shadows falling from nature-created sculptures, illuminated by the late afternoon sun of the Tien Shan. There was a sea millions of years ago. Subsequently, the bottom of the ancient sea lifted up and a plateau was formed. Then the work of water and wind completed the work of the great sculptor - nature, creating fancy shapes of clay cities, figures of people and animals.
