Just an hour’s drive from Skazka Canyons, you’ll arrive at the lush Barskoon Gorge, a stunning green valley adorned with rivers, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife, including sheep, horses, and yaks. Start with a boat tour on the pristine Issyk Kul Lake, where you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and crystal-clear waters. For those who wish, there will be an opportunity to swim in the lake, so don’t forget to bring your swimming clothes! Next, explore the fascinating Ruh Ordo Cultural Center, a unique open-air museum blending art, religion, and history. Your guide will walk you through its captivating exhibits, explaining the rich cultural significance of this iconic site. Finally, visit the Cholpon Ata petroglyphs, an ancient open-air gallery of rock carvings dating back thousands of years.
