What to expect

DAY 1

Bishkek - Ala Archa National Park - Burana Tower -

Chon Kemin National Park

Your winter adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Bishkek. We head to Ala Archa National Park, where fresh mountain air, snow-covered trees, and frozen rivers create a magical winter scene. Here you will also have a fun experience feeding friendly squirrels and birds, a favorite activity among visitors. Enjoy an easy walk through the forest before we continue our journey.

Next, we visit the historical Burana Tower, a 9th-century minaret from the ancient Silk Road city of Balasagun. Climb to the top for a panoramic winter view, explore the small museum, and walk among the Balbals — ancient stone figures carved by nomads.

In the afternoon, we drive to Chon Kemin National Park. Upon arrival, we check into a warm and cozy family guesthouse with private rooms and hot showers. Enjoy a homemade dinner and relax for the night in a peaceful winter valley.

DAY 2
Horse Riding - Kok Moynok Canyons - Eagle Hunting Show

After breakfast, you can choose between a 2–3 hour winter horse ride or a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through the snowy valley of Chon Kemin. Both options offer beautiful winter views, easy routes, and a peaceful atmosphere. Horse riding is great for active travelers, while the carriage ride is a comfortable and relaxing way to enjoy the scenery — perfect for families and those who prefer not to ride a horse.

Next, we continue toward Kok Moynok Canyons, one of the most beautiful canyon areas on the route. The short, easy walk requires almost no physical effort but rewards you with colorful rock formations and amazing winter landscapes.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Bokonbaevo for a private eagle hunting show. Watch the golden eagle fly, land, and demonstrate traditional hunting techniques. Take photos and try a short archery session.
By evening, we reach your lakeside yurt camp. Enjoy a warm dinner in a big yurt, then relax for the night in your private heated yurt beside the quiet winter lake.

DAY 3:

Bokobaevo – Skazka Canyon – Barskoon Waterfall – Bishkek

After breakfast, we visit Skazka Canyon for a relaxing 1-hour walk through red rock formations shaped by nature. Winter snow creates beautiful contrasts and great photo spots.

We continue to Barskoon Gorge to visit the frozen waterfall — one of the highlights of winter. A short walk brings you to the viewpoint where you can enjoy the fresh air and mountain scenery.

Lunch is enjoyed on the way back to Bishkek.

We arrive in the evening with wonderful winter memories and beautiful photos.
