Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Bishkek in the morning and your adventure begins toward Issyk-Kul Lake. Continuing east, you drive through the dramatic Boom Gorge where steep cliffs rise above the Chu River. Here your guide stops for a traditional roadside lunch with fresh Kyrgyz puff bread and hot tea served from a Russian samovar.

By afternoon you reach Bokonbaevo village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul, famous as the birthplace of Kyrgyz eagle hunting traditions. Meet a local eagle hunter and witness an exciting demonstration showing how golden eagles were traditionally trained for hunting.
